A Welcoming Environment
Working alongside Perkins&Will Branded Environments, 3form, and Turner Construction Company, Bluewater Studio served as UChicago Medicine’s partner of choice to execute, manage, and install an innovative brand design that brings the institution’s mission into its physical environment.
Bluewater Studio produced multiple branded 3form feature walls and seating nooks, each incorporating high-resolution graphic layers that bring in color, texture, and dimension.
At the heart of the space is a striking suspended art piece made of 400 translucent, colored acrylic squares arranged in vertical layers, creating a dynamic play of light and movement inspired by the beauty of nearby Lake Michigan.
The result of this collaboration is a series of thoughtfully integrated elements that invite patients, staff, and visitors to pause and feel a sense of peace.
