The University of Chicago Medical Center is a nationally ranked academic medical center with hospitals, outpatient clinics and physician practices throughout Chicago and its suburbs.
Bluewater Studio was UChicago Medicine’s partner of choice to manage, engineer, fabricate and install an innovative brand design that invites patients, staff and the public to pause and interact with UChicago Medicine.
Bluewater Studio collaborated with the Perkins&Will Branded Environments team, 3form, and Turner Construction Company to execute this interior brand project.
This work includes multiple branded 3form feature walls areas with high resolution graphic interlayers, LED seating nook areas and 3form corner wraps throughout the space.
The space features a beautiful suspended accent piece made with 400 translucent colored acrylic squares in vertical layers.
